Elias beach, Sithonia
Elias beach is 7km from Nikiti, Neos Marmaras 9km, 95km from Thessaloniki. In the last few years many tourists come by plane to Thessaloniki and from there rent a car and continue to their destination.
Elias beach is partly sandy, partly gravelly, about 2 km long. What is important to emphasize is that the entry into the water is gradual, so it is ideal for children but there is also a sharp small pebble at the entrance, so our recommendation is that children enter the water with slippers. In the hinterland of this beach are rocks, on which pine trees grow, which are very close to the sea, so the beach has natural shade. The whole area is incredibly picturesque. The beach is not crowded at all so you can easily find a place that suits you.
There are plenty of hotels on Elias Beach that have part of this privately owned beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants out there for refreshments or possibly a nice lunch. Don’t worry, most of the beach is unorganized and you can find a lonely place to enjoy.
Because of its special charm, this beach is one of the most photographed beaches in the area.
